Jim, Depending on if your looking for quality and comfort or just best bang for your buck cheap. I have used a couple of older Summit stands which were similar to what they now call the "stoop". They are pretty good stands for the price and you can get the brackets that allow you to move the stand anywhere you install that bracket. Another decent cheap option is any of the Big Game hang on's. They are cheap, sold everywhere and you don't loose a lot if they are stolen. However, you do loose some in quality, comfort and user friendliness in the super cheap ones. If you want high quality, comfortable, and user friendly and cost isn't an issue, the Millennium stands are awesome. I was told about them last year, and I am very impressed with them. Had the chance to sit in one and also did some research after using it and they really are aiming to please. Again, the cost is a little high but you get what you pay for. If I had more private land to hunt I would have several of these (well if the hunting budget allowed) :-) haha. Let me know if you have any other specific questions about stands, happy to help!
