I recently came across an article over at www.oneprojectcloser.com about the upcoming tools at Milwaukee, one of which included the M12 Heater Camo Jacket. Ethan over at www.oneprojectcloser.com traveled to the Milwaukee’s headquarters and was able to see the new and upcoming tools and shared a little about what he saw. After reading their post, I was interested in finding out more about the M12 heated jacket. I have not found a Milwaukee tool that I do not like, so I am hoping this jacket is no exception. I am always cold on those super cold days in January, so I always said a heated jacket could help. Now if only they would come out with heated gloves next I would be in good shape. I think if this jacket performs as they say, this could be great addition to any hunter that hunts in cold climates. The jacket says a single charge of the M12 Lithium battery will give you 6 hours of heat. That does mean that for a lot of us, we would need 2 batteries, but what cordless tool do you have that you do not need 2 batteries for? I think depending on the jackets price point, and how well it performs, that it could be well worth it. I will also note with a fall release date this could be the perfect gift come Christmas time for the hunter in your family.
I was unable to find out a lot about the jacket online since it has not been released yet, so I was able to contact Milwaukee themselves and get the picture above as well, as the press release about the new M12 Heated Realtree AP Camo Jacket. I have included the whole press release below for everyone to read. I really hope this new product is as great as it sounds and is priced decently. Hopefully this jacket makes it into your hunting arsenal if you get cold like I do!

I just got an email back from a Milwaukee PR dept. The jacket is set to release in mid-September just in time for hunting season. The price point will be $149.99 without a battery and $199.99 with a battery and charger. So the price falls right in line with most high end hunting clothing. We cannot wait to see one of these jackets and hopefully we will be able to use one this upcoming winter.
