That is right, now that it's well after dark, opening day of the 2015 - 2016 archery season is now under our belt. Due to work and not being ready I was unable to make it out this opening day. It was however a beautiful day, and I saw tons of deer on my way to work and on my way home. I also so a good number of people hunting between the public and private lands I drove past. I hope the good weather made for a good hunt for everyone that did make it out.
I would love to hear some stories about what people that did make it out saw or even better pictures if you were lucky enough to harvest a deer! Send us your stories and/or pictures.
For those who couldn't get out of work for opening day, but are getting out tomorrow for their first hunt, good luck! The weather looks a little iffy especially for the evening, but the morning could be a good hunt.
