Trail Cam Update 7 Point Buck

 

 

I got a chance to check the trail cam early this afternoon and was able to see what was around last evening.   As it turns out this slightly odd looking 7 point buck showed up around 9:45 p.m.

He is not a mature buck, but still good to see new deer coming around, this also tells me my guess of a second rut coming in the next few days.

    Was fortunate enough to make it out to Liberty Watershed the morning of December 17, had a nice ten point chasing four does run out from the pines behind me, secondary rut is on, get out there!

      Zach, It sounds like you had an exciting morning. Everyone else we have heard from over the past two weeks has been seeing slow activity. So maybe it is based on the area you are hunting or that is a good sign. Hopefully hunting will be better in the next coming week. Good luck to everyone!
