Trail Cam Update 9/30/2012

After a long week of work and the lack of getting out hunting after my outing on Monday, I wanted to pass along some pictures the trail cams got over the past week.

As the leaves are now starting to change and the deer are starting to move, hunting should continue to get better and better over the next   couple weeks.  Bucks should start getting aggressive and we should start seeing more and more rubs and scrapes over the next week or two.

Did anyone make it out end of last week or this weekend?  How did you do and what did you see?

    This morning I was walking to my stand and spooked a bunch of deer. So I jumped into a bush and one of them starting snorting at me. So I snorted back. Then she snorted back. I am not joking this went on for at least 10-15 minutes. Before I knew it the whole woods was awake. A fox starting making a bunch of scary sounds, dogs began to bark and I heard a rooster crow. I felt like I was having a conversation with all the animals. Never did get a shot though, but was a cool experience.

      Henry, Sounds like an interesting morning! At least you saw deer and didn't get skunked. Good luck next time you head out!
